One Dead, Multiple Injured In Castaic Rollover Crash


One person was killed and multiple people were injured in a rollover crash in a Castaic neighborhood Sunday.

UPDATE (5:10 p.m.): One person has died due to the crash, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

About 4:31 p.m. Sunday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision involving a rolled vehicle on the 28400 block of Sloan Canyon Road in Castaic, according to a spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We just arrived on scene a few minutes ago, there are five or six patients,” the official said.

The overturned vehicle knocked down a pole and landed in a backyard, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.

Traffic in the area was heavily impacted by the incident, expect delays.
