The I-210 Freeway is set to be closed overnight in the San Fernando Valley starting Monday for a paving project, affecting Santa Clarita traffic.
On Monday through Friday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the freeway is scheduled to be closed for striping and staging of temporary lanes as a part of a $135.5 million project. Some closures may begin or end earlier and are subject to change.
The closures are as follows:
- Full closure of westbound I-210 between State Route 118 (SR-118) and Roxford Street
- Westbound Paxton Street on-ramp
- Westbound Maclay Street on-ramp
- Westbound Hubbard Street on-ramp
- Westbound Polk Street on-ramp
Motorists heading to the Newhall Pass are encouraged to use SR-118 to I-5. Other motorists set to be detoured onto Foothill Boulevard via the 210 off-ramp at Paxton Street.
Residents and businesses near the freeway may experience noise, vibrations and dust due to construction activities.
