Super Bowl 2022 To Feature Santa Clarita Business For Business Connect Program

Signarama, a Santa Clarita Valley sign and banner business, was reportedly given approval this week to compete for contracts in the upcoming Super Bowl due to the Super Bowl LVI Business Connect program.

The Super Bowl LVI Business Connect program has reportedly given the go-ahead to compete for Super Bowl-related contracts to Santa Clarita sign business Signarama.

“Signarama has been designated as an approved supplier of the Super Bowl LVI Business Connect program,” program officials stated. “Signarama in Santa Clarita is one of 225 local, diverse businesses in Los Angeles County identified as a certified, experienced company approved to compete for contracts related to the Super Bowl.”

Super Bowl LVI, the upcoming National Football League (NFL) championship game slated for Feb. 13 of 2022, is scheduled to be held in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

The Super Bowl LVI Business Connect program is a related partnership between the Los Angeles Super Bowl Committee and the NFL which “aims to connect experienced, event-ready Los Angeles County businesses with opportunities to compete for contracts related to Super Bowl LVI,” according to the program’s L.A. Business Council page.

The Business Connect program does list several criteria necessary for businesses like Signarama to be approved for its contract competition in the Super Bowl.

“The Business Connect program is committed to supporting minority, woman, LGBTQ+ and veteran-owned businesses through progressional development, networking and contract opportunities,” the program’s Business Council page reads. “Certified businesses selected for the program will be profiled in the Business Connect Resource Guide, which NFL vendors and event producers use to identify and select local suppliers to fulfill Super Bowl LVI sub-contracting needs.”

To qualify for the program, businesses must reportedly fulfill several criteria including:

  • Being 51 percent owned by a minority, woman, LGBTQ+, or veteran and be certified as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), or several other related classifications
  • Having a physical office and being in operation in L.A. County since February of 2018
  • Providing a product or service requested by Business Connect
  • Being the direct source of products and services proposed in the business’s bid
  • Being in good standing and eligible to do business in L.A. County, Los Angeles, Inglewood, or the state of California

Signarama, one such business approved for the program, describes itself as a full-service sign center that designs signs for businesses including banners, box signs, custom logos, digital graphics, and much more.
