Santa Clarita Non-Profit Guardians Hosts Free Car Show And Pancake Breakfast

Guardians, Santa Clarita’s newest non-profit, hosted a free pancake breakfast and vintage car show for local veterans and their families Saturday morning.

The free event, hosted by Guardians, took place in the Higher Vision Church parking lot at 28776 The Old Road. and featured over 100 classic cars, military and sheriff vehicles, fire trucks, as well as free pancakes and a raffle to benefit local veterans, military, law enforcement and firefighters.

“Today was a reach-out community event; really a fundraiser as our organization is growing to assist veterans, law enforcement, and fire, active, retired and reserve, in any way we can,” said Raul Zuniga, vice president of the Guardians. “It was a lot bigger than we anticipated.”

Guardians is a local non-profit dedicated to men and women that are veterans, military, law enforcement and firefighters who are active, retired or in reserves. They focus on building strong relationships, personal growth, transparency and camaraderie, according to their website.
