Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect who allegedly stole money from a deposit drop-off box in Santa Clarita last month.
On Tuesday, June 1, a suspect approached an after-hours deposit drop-off box at the Pacific Western Bank located at 25350 Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect used a “fishing rod” mechanism to obtain a security deposit envelope containing $700 from inside, according to Arriaga.
Detectives are asking anyone with information or if they know who the pictured suspect is to contact Detective Munoz at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121 ext. 5139.
