A containment in a Canyon Country neighborhood was set up in order to arrest a parolee at-large Wednesday night.
Just after 8:15 p.m., deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department located a parolee at large on the 16000 block of Minter Court in Canyon Country, officials said.
“We do have a containment set up in the area of Minter Court,” said Lt. Rod Loughridge with the Santa Clarita valley Sheriff’s Station. “The units are currently searching the area for a parolee at large.”
The area surrounding the parolee was locked down in a containment. As of 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, the parolee was not in custody, according to Loughridge.
