Due to popular demand, the Canyon Theatre Guild is extending their production of “Mamma Mia: The Musical” through early November.
As more Santa Clarita residents persist in experiencing the classic musical comedy, the Canyon Theatre Guild has extended their production of Mama Mia: The Musical through Nov. 7.
“Due to unprecedented demand, we are adding another weekend of shows,” said Executive and Artistic Director TimBen Boydston in a statement on Thursday. “We would like to thank MTI New York for permission to extend this amazing production.”
Featuring the hits of famous pop group, ABBA, the musical comedy walks through the story of a young woman’s search for her birth father.
Unfolding on a Greek island paradise, a daughter’s quest to identify her birth father brings three men from her mother’s past to the island they last visited 20 years ago, all on the eve of her wedding, according to the Canyon Theatre Guild.
“Fans of the magical music group ABBA will have the opportunity to relive all of their greatest hits,” read a statement from the Canyon Theatre Guild. “The show is rated PG.”
Tickets for adults remain at $22, while tickets purchased for those under 18 years of age or over 62 years of age remain at $18, according to their website.
Proof of vaccination-required shows and non-required shows have been added.
