Drugs, Metal Knuckles Found In Car After Routine Traffic Stop In Santa Clarita

A wanted suspect was taken into custody early Wednesday morning on multiple charges after a routine traffic stop in Santa Clarita.

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, deputies patrolling the 17200 block of Sierra Highway observed a vehicle with an active warrant identified to the license plate of the vehicle, resulting in a traffic stop, said Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

After coming in contact with the suspect, deputies observed drugs and drug paraphernalia within reach of the man, according to Arriaga.

During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, the deputies were able to recover brass knuckles, Arriaga said.

Altobelli Tuche was arrested for possession of brass knuckles, a felony, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, Arriaga added.

Tuche was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail where he was booked, according to Sheriff’s officials.
