Pet Stop In Canyon Country Provides Support For Dorsey Family Pets

Local Canyon Country pet store Pet Stop has offered an open-ended donation to the Dorsey family to provide pet food to their family at no charge.

Members with the Dorsey family have reportedly accepted the offer to receive donated pet food from Pet Stop for their one dog and chickens, according to the store owner.

The donations are set to be available for pick-up by a family member of the Dorsey’s once a month at the store’s 26870 Sierra Hwy location in the Stater Brothers shopping center.

“That’s who we are. We like to help people out,” said a store manager at Pet Stop.

The donation comes after the tragic murder of Michelle Dorsey, mother of three, by her estranged husband in Saugus last week.

This isn’t the first time Pet Stop has made a “generous” donation, having previously donated to multiple rescue animal shelters including the Castaic Animal Shelter.

Pet Stop has been in business for over 20 years and offers pet products, grooming, dog training and veterinary services.
