Santa Clarita Family and Child Center To Host Taste Of The Town

The annual Taste of the Town, hosted by the Santa Clarita Child and Family Center, is expected to take on a different form this year as many restaurants and breweries have taken large financial hits as a result of the pandemic.

Participants can still have a chance to support local restaurants and eateries, as well as the Child and Family Center during the drive-thru event by purchasing tickets that include gift cards to the restaurants.

VIP tickets are $125 and include two $25 gift cards to a restaurant of your choice. General tickets are $75 and include one $25 gift card.

The event is set to be held on the campus of the Child and Family Center on May 2 and includes live music, photo-ops and an online silent auction. Participants can also receive their gift cards and deluxe gift bag at the drive-thru from 12 to 4 p.m.

Taste of the Town is known as the center’s largest fundraiser and contributes to the center’s mission of providing therapists and case managers to over 900 children, teens and families struggling with mental health, drug and alcohol abuse and domestic violence situations.

Funds from the fundraiser go to help provide these crucial services.
