Real Life Church (RLC), which has two locations in Santa Clarita, has announced a virtual scavenger hunt set to take place March 28 through April 4 in celebration of Easter.
The scavenger hunt consists of nine challenges, which can be accessed on RLC’s website. Those who complete all the tasks and email their photos to RLC are slated to be entered in a prize raffle.
People who complete the challenges are encouraged to post their photos on Instagram with the hashtag rlc virtual egg hunt.
Participants are directed to email their photos to RLC along with the number of challenges they have completed.
The first three challenges in the virtual scavenger hunt have an outdoor theme. For these challenges, competitors are asked to go out for a treat, take a walk, and visit a local landmark.
The fourth, fifth and sixth challenges are themed “Be Creative”. Tasks include decorating Easter Eggs, writing about Easter, and creating an Easter card.
The last three parts of the scavenger hunt have the theme “Show Love”. People are directed to donate to a food pantry or homeless shelter, do something kind for a stranger, and surprise a neighbor with a gift.
Prizes in RLC’s Easter raffle include an Xbox Series S. Winners are set to be announced on Easter Sunday.
RLC easter services in Santa Clarita are set to take place at the Valencia campus on 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on April 3, then again from 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on April 4. The Canyon Country congregation is set to meet at the Valencia location as well.
On demand and live online services are scheduled to be available on April 4.
