A stolen vehicle suspect was taken into custody Wednesday after a felony traffic stop in Valencia.
Around 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, deputies spotted a reportedly stolen vehicle on Valencia Boulevard near McBean Parkway in Valencia, said Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The deputy who located the stolen vehicle called for additional deputies to respond prior to making a traffic stop.
Although the deputy was not in pursuit, he followed the suspect until help arrived, according to Sheriff’s officials.
Deputies made a felony traffic stop on Valencia Boulevard near the I-5 Freeway, according to arriaga.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident, Arriaga added.
