One person was pronounced dead Monday afternoon after a Stevenson Ranch fatal crash.
Around noon Monday, emergency responders received reports of a vehicle that had gone over the side and down a ravine at the end of Poe Parkway in Stevenson Ranch, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials.
“One (person was) deceased on scene,” said Officer Josh Greengard, spokesperson for the CHP-Newhall office.
CHP officials stated that it was believed to be a solo-vehicle crash as of 2:25 p.m. Monday.
The vehicle was at least 200 feet down the embankment, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.
The identity of the deceased was unavailable to KHTS as of Monday pending notification of next of kin.
