Two people were arrested Saturday night for allegedly stealing an unidentified amount of cash from the Tomato Joe’s Pizza location in Valencia.
At approximately 7:54 p.m. Saturday night, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the Tomato Joe’s Pizza on the 27700 block of McBean Parkway in Santa Clarita after receiving a call that a robbery had just occurred.
“During the investigation, deputies learned a male adult, 20 years old, and female adult, 20 years old, entered the business and stole property from within the businesses containing an unidentified amount of currency,” said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the station. “Employees attempted to stop the suspect in which a brief struggle ensued.”
