Santa Clarita Weather Expected To Clear Up By Weekend

Officials with the National Weather Service (NWS) have forecast clear skies and warming weather for the Santa Clarita Valley for the coming week.

Although the Santa Clarita Valley experienced light rain Monday morning, the rest of the week is predicted to clear up and even warm by the weekend.

In comparison to the rainfall last week and the intense winds the week prior, skies should be starting to clear and the valley starting to warm this weekend, with Sunday being the warmest day of the week at around 70 degrees, according to meteorologists with the NWS.

Each night this week should be in the upper to lower 40’s with clear skies, except for Saturday and Sunday which will be around 50 degrees, NWS officials say.

The Santa Clarita Valley is predicted to experience light winds Monday through Wednesday at around 10-20 mph from the northeastern and southeastern regions.

Santa Clarita may experience slightly harsher winds on Thursday and Friday, clocking in at around 30-40 mph, from the Santa Ana and northeastern regions.

In terms of rainfall, the valley is down 4.4% in comparison to this same time in 2020, according to the NWS.
