No Injuries Reported After Car Crashes Through Newhall Home

No injuries were reported after a car was discovered to have crashed through a Newhall home Wednesday evening.

Just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, emergency responders were called to the scene of a vehicle crashed into a structure, according to Jonathan Matheny, public information officer for the Los Angeles County Fire Department

“(It was) a solo-vehicle crash that impacted a building,” Matheny said. “We never found anybody in the vehicle, we found no injuries of any kind in the house.”

While deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station were seen talking to residents of the home, officials were unable to confirm exactly when the original crash occured.

Building and Safety was notified to ascertain the structural viability of the home, according to Matheny.
