Wednesday night saw the first of two nights of cars and trailers driving through Santa Clarita neighborhoods, drumming up holiday cheer and attention for the GracieStrong charity event.
The parades are scheduled to occur again on Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m., with volunteers planning to meet at Real Life Church respectively and collect donations from driveways while caroling to Gracie Muehlberger’s favorite holiday songs, which are scheduled to be broadcast on KHTS Radio ad-free during the events, from their cars from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“On Dec. 11 and 12, 2019, we created an annual fundraiser to collect canned goods for those in need – doing what Gracie loved doing the most – Christmas caroling,” read a statement on the GracieStrong website.
Participants can listen to KHTS during the parades over the radio by tuning in to 98.1 FM or AM 1220. The broadcast can also be listened to through the KHTS live-streaming app.
The first “Caroling with Gracie” parade is set to drive through the RiverVillage neighborhood in Santa Clarita, while the second parade is set to pass through the Northbridge neighborhood, also located in Santa Clarita.

Volunteers are asked to RSVP through text message.
