Reckless Driver Arrested After Doing ‘Doughnuts’ In Valencia Parking Lot

A reckless driver was taken into custody Tuesday evening after he was allegedly doing “doughnuts” in a Valencia parking lot.

On Tuesday around 9:25 p.m. a deputy conducted a patrol check of a business parking lot located on the 24200 block of Valencia Boulevard after receiving reports of a possible reckless driver, said Candice Gonzales, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“He observed a white Chevy doing ‘doughnuts’ near other parked vehicles with multiple people watching,” Gonzales said.

The vehicle caused skid mark patterns of rubber in a parking lot, loud engine revving and white smoke emitting from the friction of the tires, according to officials.

The deputy initiated his lights and sirens to conduct a traffic stop for reckless driving, according to Gonzales.

Yzabal Aros, 18, of Canyon Country, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, Gonzales added.

Aros was arrested and transported and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s jail with bail set at $0, according to arrest records.
