The College of the Canyons (COC) winter session registration is underway, with over 300 class sections available for registration.
Winter session at COC runs from Jan. 4 to Feb. 6 and allows students to complete courses in a short time frame, according to the college.
Classes are set to be held in three different formats during the winter session. Online classes do not meet live.
OnlineLive classes are held on Zoom during the days and times designated on the class schedule and during registration, so students will be unable to register for two OnlineLive classes that meet at the same time.
In-person classes require in-person instruction, and are expected to be held under strict health protocols, according to the college.
Courses offered during the winter term include general education classes needed to graduate, transfer, or meet course prerequisites.
Career preparation classes are also offered during winter session 2021.
The School of Personal and Professional Learning, which provides lifelong learning classes to residents free of charge, will be offering 40 class sections including GED preparation, math skills, computing classes and Spanish for healthcare workers.
During spring semester, COC is set to offer more than 1,700 class sections for students, with registration beginning Monday, Jan. 6.
The spring semester is scheduled to run from Monday, Feb. 8 to Thursday, June 3.
Winter registration is set to continue at both the Valencia and Canyon Country campuses until classes are full.
