A flood advisory has been issued for Santa Clarita and is set to last until 12:30 a.m. tomorrow.
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood advisory for several areas in western Los Angeles County including the Santa Clarita Valley, set to last until 12:30 a.m. Friday.
“Urban and small stream flooding will be possible,” the NWS said in a tweet. “Minor mud and debris flows could occur near recent burn scars.”

The advisory, which was announced by the NWS earlier this evening, comes amid a storm which has brought abundant rain to Santa Clarita.

Other areas affected by the flood advisory include the San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica Mountains and Malibu coast.
