Vehicle Fire Spreads To Brush North Of Santa Clarita

A vehicle fire spread to surrounding brush north of Santa Clarita on Saturday afternoon. 

At around 12:49 p.m. first responders received reports of a brush fire on the 35100 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road, according to Miguel Ornelas with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“We are there now assisting ANF,” Ornelas said. “It came in as a vehicle fire and has spread to brush.”

The fire is at a quarter acre as of 1:16 p.m., according to Ornelas.
