On Saturday, August 21, Santa Clarita Valley nonprofit Circle of Hope held a fundraising event hosted by Porsche Santa Clarita, raising over $100,000 for low-income cancer patients in need of treatment.
Porsche Santa Clarita hosted a fundraising event by Circle of Hope this weekend, raising over $100,000 in funds for those in the community living with cancer.
“Everybody had a fabulous time, and we just wish to thank everyone in the community who came out to support our organization and the people who deal with cancer in our community,” said Laura Kirchhoff, executive director of Circle of Hope.

The in-person fundraising event was held in the Wünderground Museum, located underneath the Porsche Santa Clarita Dealership and featuring displays of iconic Porsches, from celebrity favorites to victorious racing vehicles.
“The Vine 2 Wine on Saturday night was a huge success that was attended by over 325 people in our community,” Kirchhoff said. “The attendees enjoyed a wine tasting, beer tasting, a wonderful sit down dinner and an auction.”
Auction items sold at Saturday’s fundraiser included a four-day weekend spent driving a Porsche 911 and a private tour of comedian Jay Leno’s car garage, according to Circle of Hope officials.
Unlimited wine and beer tasting from Southern California wineries and breweries were offered at the event, as well as a gourmet sit-down dinner and the auction.
VIP tickets to the fundraiser included a VIP cocktail hour with a full bar, one included cocktail, assorted hors d’oeuvres and VIP parking.
An upcoming event, Circle of Hope’s 17th Annual Tea, is slated for October 9 and will reportedly be held at the Hyatt Regency of Valencia. The event is said to kick off the organization’s 31 Days of Hope month for breast cancer, according to Circle of Hope officials.
“Hundreds of donors and supporters and volunteers came out and gave us all they could,” Kirchhoff said. “We just look forward to inviting everybody back next year.”
All proceeds from Vine 2 Wine go to support Circle of Hope, a cancer support organization that offers emotional, financial, educational and supportive wellness therapies to those affected by cancer. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
