Santa Clarita Disney Store One Of Many To Close By September

Several Disney Stores across North America, including the one in Santa Clarita, are expected to close by September, officials said.

By Wednesday, Sept. 15, several Disney Stores are expected to close their doors including the Westfield Valencia Town Center location, according to Disney officials.

Back in March, Disney announced their plans to close at least 60 stores throughout North America to reduce its brick-and-mortar footprint and to focus on e-commerce business, according to officials.

Although most Disney Stores are set to close, their products are still expected to be available online and at their theme parks.

Target also announced Monday their plans to open brick-and-mortar center’s at 160 locations, however, both Santa Clarita stores were unaware if Disney locations were coming to their facilities as of Thursday.
