A four vehicle crash on the southbound 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita left one person trapped early Friday morning, with no major injuries reported.
At 5:46 a.m. Friday, first responders received reports of the crash on the southbound 14 Freeway near the 5 Freeway, close to the Newhall Pass, according to Charisma Murillo with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“We arrived on scene at 5:56,” Murillo said. “The call came in as a traffic collision on the southbound 14 near the 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita.”
The person who reported the crash was trapped in her car, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) incident logs.
No one was transported to a hospital due to the incident, Murillo said.
The crash blocked lanes of the southbound 14 Freeway for an unknown duration.
