A resident of a Canyon Country apartment complex was arrested Saturday evening after stabbing a neighbor during a verbal dispute.
Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, emergency responders received reports of a medical emergency at an apartment complex on the 29000 block of Dune Lane in Canyon Country, according to Bernard Peters, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“At 10:39 p.m., we received a call from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Department about a dispute between two neighbors,” Peters said.

After emergency responders arrived on scene, they transported a victim with stab wounds to a nearby hospital, according to officials on scene.
The current status of the patient has not been released to the public as of 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
“One person was arrested,” said Lt. James Royal with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation remains ongoing as of 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
