Judge Refuses To Extend Restraining Order Against Dodgers, Santa Clarita Native Trevor Bauer

A judge ruled not to grant a restraining order extension to a woman who accused Trevor Bauer, a William S. Hart High School graduate and pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, of assaulting her during their sexual encounters.

On Thursday, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge refused to grant a woman a five-year extension of a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Bauer, according to an article from FOX 11 Los Angeles.

The San Diego woman had been given a temporary restraining order for domestic violence after alleging that Bauer had physically assaulted her by choking her until she was unconscious and punching her during their sexual encounters, according to FOX 11.

The woman requested an extension for the restraining order, claiming she was afraid Bauer would make attempts to contact her over the phone or see her in person, reporters with FOX 11 said. The judge denied her the restraining order, saying Bauer had followed all boundaries the woman had set.

The Southern California woman is one of two people who have accused Bauer of violent acts during intercourse.

The other accuser is from Ohio, and she allegedly had relations with Bauer when he was living in Cleveland, according to FOX 11.

Bauer has maintained that all relations between him and the two women were consensual.

The cases against Bauer are being investigated by Major League Baseball and the police department in Pasadena, where Bauer currently resides, according to reporters.

Bauer has been placed on paid administrative leave by the Dodgers organization, with the team distancing themselves from him, according to reports.

All of Bauer’s merchandise has been pulled from the team store, and several of his teammates unfollowed his social media accounts, said FOX 11.

His bobblehead night, originally scheduled to take place Aug. 19, was cancelled amid the allegations.

The pitcher’s absence, originally set to last seven days, has been extended through at least Aug. 20.
