Hart District To Host Substitute Teacher Virtual Recruitment Fair 


The William S. Hart Union High School District is scheduled to host a virtual recruitment fair to fill substitute teaching roles later this week. 

Offering flexible scheduling and preferred worksite accommodation, officials with the Hart District are searching for applicants looking to fill substitute teaching roles, according to Hart District officials.

“If you enjoy working with students while maintaining a flexible work schedule, you should consider becoming a substitute teacher,” read a statement from the Hart District on Monday.

In addition to flexible scheduling, all substitute teaching assignments are set to receive a long-term pay rate of $250 per day, effective between Sept. 2021 and Dec. 2021, according to Hart District officials. 

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college as well as a basic skills requirement, according to the Hart District. 

To be a part of the virtual recruitment event, pre-register for Thursday’s zoom meeting at 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. here or pre-register for Friday’s virtual meeting from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. here.
