The discovery follows a 27-hour search for a missing 23-year-old Hispanic man who allegedly “fell overboard” into Lake Pyramid Monday morning, according to Deputy Trina Schrader, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The body was eventually recovered in 60’ depth of water in Pyramid Lake, according to a Twitter statement from the SIB.
As of 7 p.m. Tuesday, investigators with the LASD are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
The identity of the man and any other information regarding how the man ended up in the water has yet to be confirmed by investigators as of Tuesday evening.
