Vehicle Runs Off The Old Road Into Parked Cars In Santa Clarita Crash

A vehicle towing a trailer ran off The Old Road and into a crowded parking lot in a Santa Clarita crash on Monday night, damaging several vehicles.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, a single driver towing a small trailer was involved in a multi-vehicle crash at the 25200 block of The Old Road at the In N Out in Stevenson Ranch, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

“There was a traffic collision that resulted in a vehicle hitting a tree and several parked cars. Damage was also done to an underground vault and one patient was transported,” said spokesperson Imy McBride. 

Damage to an underground vault could lead to power outages, as crews work to either replace equipment or prevent further injury.

No outages have been reported as of 9 p.m. Monday, according to the Southern California Edison outage website. 

The extent of any injuries are unavailable to the public as of Monday night, according to McBride.
