A vehicle fire has impacted northbound traffic on the 14 Freeway just outside of Santa Clarita in Agua Dulce Saturday.
At approximately 11:40 a.m. Saturday, officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call for a vehicle fire on the right shoulder of the northbound 14 Freeway at Escondido Canyon Road in Agua Dulce.
“There is a Jeep on fire on the right shoulder. We are continuing with the water tender, and CHP and Fire are still in route,” said Dispatch Supervisor Sims.
Traffic is caused by not only the vehicle fire, but also a simultaneous traffic collision that also occurred at Escondido Canyon Road and the 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce, LACoFD officials said.
The heavy traffic caused by the two separate incidents has reportedly made it difficult for both fire and CHP to quickly arrive on scene.
