A multiple vehicle crash on the 14 Freeway in Newhall resulted in several southbound lanes blocked Saturday morning.
UPDATE (12:20 p.m.) : One person was confirmed to be transported to a hospital, per LACoFD officials.
At around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, first responders received reports of a traffic collision involving four vehicles on the southbound 14 and 5 Freeways in the Newhall Pass.
Preliminary reports stated a person was supposedly trapped in their vehicle, but responders confirmed nobody was trapped and nobody was transported to the hospital, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.
As of 11:45 a.m. two lanes are blocked in Newhall on the southbound 14 Freeway just before the 5 Freeway, according to California Highway Patrol incident logs.
