An RV reportedly caught fire on the exit for Hasley Canyon Road in Castaic Saturday morning.
At approximately 10:34 a.m. Saturday, officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) received a call for a recreational vehicle that had reportedly caught fire on the northbound I-5 Freeway exit 173 to Hasley Canyon Road, according to Dispatch Supervisor Ed Pickett with the LACoFD.
“Fire is currently on scene, with no extension to brush,” Pickett said.
The on and off ramps to the northbound 5 Freeway from Hasley Canyon Road were temporarily blocked due to the incident, per officials on scene.
