Reported Robbery At Wells Fargo In Canyon Country

A suspect reportedly fled the scene after using bodily force to rob a Wells Fargo in Canyon Country Saturday.

UPDATE: As of 12:29 p.m. Saturday, the suspect has not been found. Robbery did not take place inside the Wells Fargo, but in the parking lot involving a customer with the bank.

At approximately 10:50 a.m. Saturday, a call was received by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station for a potential robbery at the Wells Fargo bank on Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country.

“Deputies are still on scene at the moment gathering more information,” said LT. Jonathan Hoyt with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’ Station.

The suspect reportedly used bodily force to steal an envelope with an unidentified amount of money and fled the scene, according to Sheriff’s officials.
