A person has reportedly died from a medical emergency on the 14 Freeway north of Santa Clarita Thursday.
Around 11:05 a.m. Thursday, first responders received reports of a medical emergency on the southbound 14 Freeway near Sierra Highway in Agua Dulce, said Franklin Lopez, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It was reported as a cardiac arrest,” Lopez said.

As a result of the medical emergency the person was pronounced dead on scene by emergency responders.
“It was a medical emergency, the person died on scene,” said Officer Josh Greengard, spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol, (CHP) Newhall Area Office.
As of 12 p.m. Thursday, no 14 Freeway lanes are reported blocked, according to officials.
