Pedestrian Transported To Hospital After Being Struck By Vehicle In Santa Clarita


A pedestrian was sent to the hospital Friday after being struck by a vehicle in a Santa Clarita crash, officials said.

Around 7:20 p.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision near the intersection of Sandy Drive and W Grace Lane in Canyon Country, just west of Sierra Highway, according to Melinda Choi, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“We have one person en route to the hospital,” Choi said.

Initial reports were that two pedestrians were hit, according to officials on scene. 

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Friday evening, according to Fire officials.
