Kicking off the second night of Santa Clarita Concerts in the Park summer series, Hollywood U2 performed a tribute to U2 on Saturday with more performers and vendors scheduled for the following shows throughout July and August.
Following the 2020 cancellation of Concerts in the Park due to state and nationwide COVID-19 regulations, residents are finally able to enjoy the weekly-scheduled concerts in Central Park this summer until August 28, according to City officials.
The event on Saturday featured a live tribute to U2 from Hollywood U2 with hundreds of Santa Clarita residents in attendance.

With two shows down, the 2021 Concerts in the Park series has much more in store for Santa Clarita including tributes to music icons David Bowie, Bruce Springstein as well as The Rolling Stones.
While some featured bands are familiar to the Concerts in the Park lineup, others are making their initial debut this summer.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy while setting up their blankets and chairs to carve out their spot. Concessions can be purchased at a variety of food trucks and vendors surrounding Central Park, according to the City.
Each show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Saturdays at Central Park.

July 17 — AbbaFab: A Tribute to ABBA
July 24 — Space Oddity: A Tribute to David Bowie
July 31 — The Rising: A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen
August 14 — The Lao Tizer Band: Contemporary Jazz
August 21 — The WHO Invasion: A Tribute to the WHO
August 28 — Mick Adams and the Stones: A Tribute to The Rolling Stones
Concerts in the Park does not have performers lined up on August 7 due to a private event.
The weekly concerts are to be held on Fields 7 & 8 near the dog park. Parking is available in all designated spaces as well as the passive grass field.
