California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers briefly closed the 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita Thursday afternoon while they detained a man that was seen “dancing in the lanes.”

Around 11:56 a.m. Thursday, officers with the California Highway Patrol received reports of a pedestrian on the 14 Freeway near Placerita Canyon Road in Newhall, said Officer Elizabeth Kravig, with the CHP Traffic Management Center.

A man was seen “dancing in the lanes,” of traffic, according to CHP logs.
