Filming For ‘Mayan MC’ Scheduled For Newhall

Filming for the American crime drama television series “Mayans MC” is expected to take place in Newhall next week, prompting both structure and road closures.

Pacific 2.1 Entertainment production company obtained a filming permit to shoot scenes for Mayan MC over the course of two days. On both Monday and Tuesday, filming in Newhall is expected to close the Newhall parking structure to the public from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, resident parking is still set to be allowed.

Additionally, portions of 9th Street, Railroad Avenue and the east side of Main Street are set to be closed for parking from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials are expected to be on-site for safety and traffic control.

Filming includes both interior and exterior scenes of dialogue with mock weapons and a mock explosion that blows out the windows of a structure with a fireball. Actors may be brandishing weapons as well.

Cast and crew vehicles are listed as off-site and working trucks on posting on property.
