A small brush fire was put out behind in the Mercedes dealership in Valencia Thursday evening.
Just after 4;30 p.m., reports were received of a brush fire just north of the Mercedes dealership on Valencia Boulevard, according to Public Information Officer Jonathan Matheny with the Los Angeles County Fire department.
“We were dispatched at 4:35 and were on scene five minutes later,” Matheny said. “There was initially a full brush assignment just to be sure the fire had resources, but we went ahead and cancelled the assignment.”

The engines that arrived on scene initially were kept on location and are now “mopping it up,” according to Matheny.
The brush fire was put out within 20 minutes of its initial report.
No injuries, nor damage to any structures were reported Thursday evening.
