Rollover Saugus Crash Takes Out Street Light, Injuries Reported


A rollover Saugus crash involving two vehicles took out a street light and sent at least one person to the hospital late Friday night, officials said.

Around 10:30 p.m. Friday night, emergency responders received a call for a rollover vehicle near the intersection of Copper Hill Drive and Deer Springs Drive in Saugus, according to Supervising Fire Dispatcher Bernard Peters, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It involved two cars, they hit a streetlight (and) took it out,” said Peters.

Firefighters had to remove the passengers from the vehicle due to it being overturned, according to Peters.

At least one person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
