Marijuana Grow House Found In Canyon Country

Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Narco Team discovered a marijuana grow house in Canyon Country after receiving an anonymous tip.

After receiving information from residents regarding a possible marijuana grow house via the “LA Crime Stoppers” program, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Narco Team served a search warrant for a residence in Canyon Country.

“After serving a search warrant at the location, deputies observed that every bedroom in the residence, as well as the garage, had been converted to a marijuana grow room with illegal wiring and drainage,” wrote Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the station.

While both the exact location of the grow house and date the warrant was served were not immediately available, Arriaga was able to confirm that deputies discovered a firearm on the premises during their search.

“Our deputies will be sure to investigate,” Arriaga added.
