A gas leak in a Canyon Country residence prompted an evacuation of the whole home, Friday night.
First responders from the L.A. County Fire Department were dispatched to the 28000 block of Flowerpark Drive in Canyon Country just before 6:30 p.m. Friday, after calls were received of a gas leak in the area.
“There was reported gas in the house and all occupants are out now,” said Supervisor Flores with the Fire Department. “Our units are on scene waiting for the gas company.”
The gas appears to be coming from inside one home on the block, so it is being treated as the source, according to Flores.
No other homes have been evacuated as of 7:05 p.m. Friday.
