A Newhall gas main break prompted a response from firefighters Wednesday morning.
Around 9:40 a.m. firefighters received reports of a gas main break in the 25000 block of Peachland Avenue in Newhall, said Leslie Lua, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“Our units confirmed that a plumber hit a gas main outside the building,” Lua said.
Despite there being a gas main break, no homes or businesses are being evacuated as of 9:55 a.m., according to Fire officials.
