Motorcyclist Downed After Sand Canyon Crash

A motorcyclist was downed after a crash with a passenger vehicle on Sand Canyon Road Sunday morning.

Just after 12:15 p.m., reports were received of a motorcycle versus vehicle crash on Sand Canyon Road near Ruthspring Drive in Canyon Country, according to Supervisor Bernard Peters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We’ve got a motorcyclist down outside of Fire Station 123 on Sand Canyon,” Supervisor Peters said. “We are still on scene waiting on law enforcement.”

One ambulance was called to the scene, however no other injuries were reported in relation to the incident as of Sunday afternoon.
