Contrary to what you might think, structuring an essay is not as tough as it sounds. Essay structures may vary depending on the type of essay you are writing but every good essay has a basic structure which consists of three parts: The introduction, The body and The conclusion. These are the three fundamental parts of any essay.

Paragraphs also have structures in their own right. The first sentence of each paragraph should be a sort of header for the point that is to follow.
The subsequent sentences will then expand and details on your intended point. These will contain evidence and logic gotten from various sources such as the internet, books and journals. But do not forget to always reference these sources of information in your essay.
The last part of the paragraph should be your own take on the above stated point and its significance to the essay, how it solves a problem or answers a question or why it is the correct option.
The conclusion
This is the last part of your essay, every well structured must have one. Usually a paragraph is enough but if the topic happens to be a lengthy one then two or more paragraphs are allowed as long as you are within the word count.
The purpose of the conclusion is to restate your answer to the essay topic and also summarise the main points that you have given. You also get to insert a final statement, something the reader can think of. Be creative and be concise and make sure not to introduce any new information.
