Six Flags Magic Mountain ‘Holiday In The Park’ Extended Through January

One of the largest drive-thru events in Southern California, the Six Flags Magic Mountain “Holiday in the Park,” has extended their seasonal experience through January.

Due to popular demand, Six Flags announced Thursday the festive Magic Mountain “Holiday in the Park” is extended on select nights until Jan.10 and weekends through Jan. 31.

The holiday event was initially set to end on Jan. 3, but the drive-thru’s immense amount of popularity and ticket sales has Six Flags ready and willing to keep the festivities flowing.

Magic Moutain’s “Holiday in the Park” kicked off on Nov. 20 and features eight different areas to explore while driving through the 125-acre park. The experience includes millions of glistening lights synchronized to festive music, iconic holiday decorations, classic beloved characters and distanced greetings from Santa, Mrs. Claus and their troop of friendly elves.

Metropolis has been transformed into Merry Lane, which features massive 30-foot lit ornaments and holiday lights choreographed to holiday music while the DC Universe region of the park exhibits rockin’ contemporary holiday music.

The Underground is a new section of the park that exhibits several holiday-decorated show cars from West Coast Customs and Winter Wonderland features glorious pine trees lit with “ice” sculptures and white lights to replicate winter weather.

Holiday Square features simulated snow and thousands of lights intertwining the trees while Snowy Nights features spirited music and shimmery silver and blue decorations.

Say hello to Mrs. Claus and her elves at the North Pole Plaza or appreciate the steampunk-inspired Gleampunk District for a 19th century-themed holiday. The drive-thru event ends on a cheerful note as Santa Claus sits atop his sleigh to spread lasting holiday cheer as guests say farewell.

Safety guidelines are in place based on Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Six Flags Magic Mountain policies.

Guests with valid season passes qualify for free admission, but must make an online reservation before their visit. Tickets and reservations must be bought and made online in advance.
