A Stevenson Ranch woman was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after she allegedly attacked her parents Monday morning.
On Monday around 8 a.m. deputies responded to the 25000 block of London Place in Stevenson Ranch for a family dispute and possible assault with a deadly weapon call, said Sgt. Joel Nebel, with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Detective Bureau.
“At one point (the suspect) became upset and smashed a mug with coffee in it over the back of her father’s head and tried to attack him with a picture frame,” Nebel said.
After the victim ran to a neighbor’s to call the police, the suspect reportedly “attacked” her mother by hitting and kicking her in the arms, head and legs, according to Nebel.
Angela Wachter, 33, from Stevenson Ranch, was arrested on felony assault with a deadly weapon, Nebel added.
Wachter was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s jail with bail set at $30,000, according to arrest records.
