Traffic Light Downed, Traffic Slowed Due To Valencia Crash

One traffic light was knocked down and traffic was slowed following a Valencia crash Tuesday evening.

Just before 6:15 p.m. Tuesday night, reports were received of a two-vehicle car crash involving a traffic light on Tournament Road near Wiley Canyon Road.

“We have a traffic light down in that intersection,” said Supervisor Ed Pickett with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “We haven’t transported anybody yet but there is an ambulance on scene.”

Before 6:30, public works had been contacted that the traffic light was down and wires were exposed, according to officials on scene.

Northbound Wiley Canyon Road traffic was slowed as the lanes were blocked while first responders cleared the roadway.
