Only two Lost Hikers In Newhall Saved From Rice Canyon

Two hikers were recovered from Rice Canyon Sunday evening after one became stuck in the tree while hiking, officials established.

Around 12: 00 p. m. Sunday, emergency administrators received a call for a stuck hiker somewhere in Rice Canyon, easy to access from the 23000 block of The Beneficial old Road in Newhall, according to Manager, administrator Rangel with the Los Angeles County Caught up Department (LACoFD).

“SCV Sheriff gave us the call together with two possible stranded patients, ” Rangel said. “We have a helicopter on scene, we are attempting to to save two (people), one patient plus possible second patient stuck with a tree. ”

LACoFD helicopter 16 was sent out to help you in retrieving the stuck backpackers.

Injuries related to the type of incident are unknown as of Weekend afternoon.
