Bicyclist Hospitalized After Canyon Country Crash

A bicyclist was sent to the hospital Tuesday morning after being struck in a Canyon Country crash near Discovery Park, officials said.

Around 11:15 a.m. first responders received reports of a traffic collision on Canyon View Drive near Cottonwood Drive, said Henry Narvaez, an inspector for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We were dispatched to a vehicle versus a bicyclist,” Narvaez said.

As a result of the crash, one person, described as a 20-year-old male, was sent to the hospital, according to Narvaez.

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Tuesday morning, according to Fire officials.
